It is free and easy to use, allowing instant peer to peer money transfers, using only your recipient’s mobile number. This means you don't need to know your recipient's banking details, you don't need to pay to transfer, and they don't need to wait.

Cashloop allows you to securely and instantly send or receive funds to or from anyone in South Africa using their registered mobile number, by simply selecting them from your contacts list or entering their contact details and adding the amount to send. Funds can be uploaded into your Cashloop eWallet instantly, via the OZOW secure transfer gateway. Transfers reflect instantly in the recipient's Cashloop eWallet.

Cashloop is available by navigating to the iOS and Google Play stores for download.

Cashloop is an instant payment gateway with all your funds stored securely within your app, no handling of funds and the worries of theft or loss of your funds or cards, if your mobile device is stolen/lost you have the ability of logging in to the app on another device with your personal log in details in order to keep making payments.

You have the ability to use Cashloop within any organisation that supports the Cashloop payment gateway as well as any other individual who has downloaded and registered.

Anyone who has a valid South African mobile number can register for the app. To withdraw funds, one can specify any South African bank account into which Cashloop will deposit the money.Please refer to the 'Fees and limits' section for more information on withdrawals.

No, only registered Cashloop users can send or receive funds.

If you are trying to send funds using a mobile number, please make sure the mobile number is correct, otherwise, the payment will not go through.

Alternatively, if you are attempting to send money to a mobile number that is not registered on Cashloop, the payment will be declined.

Payments are instant and cannot be cancelled or reversed but you can request for the sender to refund you.

No, you have to physically make a payment yourself using the app every time you need to transact.

Absolutely, you need to have funds in your Cashloop Ewallet in order to make any payments.

You can either scan their QR code or enter their mobile device number linked to their Cashloop account

You will need to request a refund from the person you have paid

You will insert the funds yourself that is required to pay, but if you are unsure of the funds you have sent, you can have a look at your transaction history.

There are two methods to uploading funds to your Cashloop account.

 

Method 1: Direct EFT

By adding the Cashloop banking details to your beneficiaries, you can direct EFT your funds to Cashloop and we will top up your eWallet as soon as the funds show in the account. Please contact us directly for these details.

 

Method 2: Via the App

You can upload funds to your eWallet via the Cashloop app. Simply go to your eWallet and select TOP UP. Follow the steps until you reach the OZOW gateway. Select the amount and account you want to top up your wallet from and viola, you got cash in your Digital Cashloop eWallet!

A service fee of 6% will be charged on the amount that is uploaded.

The following Banks can be used via the OZOW secure payment gateway, Capitec Bank, Nedbank, First National Bank, ABSA Bank, Standard Bank, Investec Bank, African bank, Bidvest Bank, Tyme Bank.

You can scan the QR code of the merchant you intend on payming OR by entering the mobile device number of the person you want to transfer funds to.

You don’t need to send any proof of payment, the person receiving the funds gets an instant notification, but alternately you can view your invoice from your settings panel.

You can accept any payments from other registered Cashloop users for free. Please read the Fees and Limits section in reference to the withdrawal fee if you want to remove your money from Cashloop.

Your funds are recieved directely in you eWallet, transfers are instant.

There is a zero transaction fee cost

Yes. There is a withdrawal limit for all users of R5000 per week. All withdrawals can only be made following succesful verification of FICA documentation. Merchants will be able to withdrawal as much as they like, following successful verification of business FICA documents. You cannot withdrawal less than R1000 at a time.

Cashloop is Free to download and peer to peer transfers cost nothing.

When loading money into your eWallet you will be charged a 6% service fee for the upload.

When withdrawing money from your eWallet you will be charged a 2% service fee for the withdrawal.

The limit is linked to how much is in your ewallet, there is no limit, if you have funds you can send funds

This is limitless, you can transact as often as you wish

There is a limit, you can withdrawal to a maximum of R5000 a week.

It is advised to always have a screen lock on your mobile device. Cashloop uses three levels of security. Level 1, users your mobile device pin code, biometric access and facial recognition. To ensure your safety, never disclose your information to anyone. Level 2, the Cashloop application requires a password different to that of your mobile device OS, and should never be shared with anyone. Level 3, before making or recieving a payment, Cashloop requires you enter a four digit passcode that only you know. Again, all passwords and verifications should not be shared with anyone else.

Your Cashloop app is secured by your personal login details, it is advised to log in on a new device and change your password to continue.

Your funds are stored securely in your app by your password, it is always advised to create a strong and secure password that you will remember.

Yes, Cashloop integrates with your device to allow access to Cashloop via the biometric scanning system. 

Please note, you will still need to insert your four-digit Passcode to complete payments.

100%, Cashloop is a smart phone app

Click on the eWallet button left of your home screen, you will find the transaction history button on the bottom right of that screen, you can view all transactions there.

Besides trying to find a charger, you could always login on a friends phone by using your personal login details.

It would be recommended to log out of the Cashloop App, otherwise delete the app completely before switching over to a new phone, once you have your new phone you would have to download the app again then just log in with your same details.

No, you can be an informal business or sole proprietorship. But we will still need the necessary FICA documentation (namely your ID book or card and valid proof of address for your place of business.

Think about your Cashloop account in a similar way to setting up a bank account, we need the same documents to make sure that everything is safe and secure for you and your customers.

Yes. Log in to your Cashloop Merchant portal, navigate to the Transactions tab. You are able to review all transactions and can also specify either 'Today', 'Week', 'Month', 'Year' or a specific date.

Select the custom date and time range on the Transactions tab and then export the information. This will now contain all transactions received or paid during the selected time period.
